League of Dungeoneers

FAQ: LoD Gamefound edition and The False Prophet (TFP)

ASAP. We are working as fast as possible together with all hubs to make sure this gets delivered as fast as possible.

First off, check with retailers in your country. There are some retailers who have stocked up on the game. Make sure to support them first!

The game and the upgrade kit will also be available from the vonbraus.se webshop after fulfillment is completed AND the retailers have had a chance to sell their copies.

Fill out this google form. That is the ONLY way to report issues. Replacements will be handled after the bulk of fulfillment has completed for logistical reasons.

You can find the form here: https://forms.gle/9S74iZ57V88rLEi28

There is no C19 card so that’s perfectly fine.

Yes, the rulebook refers to such a sheet, but it was never printed and delivered with the expansion. The reason for this last minute change was that the lifespan of that sheet would be incredibly short. As soon as a new quest is made available, it will be obsolete. And more quests will come for sure, or you might even want to add your own or fanmade quests. I will instead make such a sheet available as a PDF. In the meantime, the QBIII quest randomizer will have you covered for all currently available official quests.

Nope, those two sheets are the sheets provided with the expansion.

This is an unfortunate misprint that slipped through the quality control. While it doesn't affect gameplay, it’s frustrating nonetheless. Please read no.8 below as well.

Yes, they were meant to be included but due to a communication failure (on MY part), this didn’t happen. This does not affect gameplay, as the difference is that the new cards have added art. But yes, they should have been in the package.

There is no way for me to be able to send a new sheet or deck of card out to every backer but I will make the correct ones available for free from the webshop (no matter your hub location). You could then order them (and pay for shipping only) or add them when you order something else from the webshop without increasing the shipping cost (yes, there is new stuff coming quite soon). It will take some time to have the parts printed and flown to the hubs as well as setting up the technical support for it in the shop. This solution is of course not optimal from a customer perspective, but with the limited resources at hand, it’s the best I can do.

  • Replace any card with the same name from the core game.
  • Add the other cards to the game.
  • There are some reports of a Cave bear with an Undead background as well as some duplicates in the upgrade kit. I have yet to get to the root of this, but any duplicates within the upgrade kit as well as that odd bear can be scrapped.

  • The Road events should be mixed into the core game.
  • The Wilderness event deck completely replaces the deck in the core game. This is because the 1st ed Wilderness event deck was printed upside down.

No. Monster cards are never drawn randomly so this is a visual issue only.

No. These cards are not meant to be mixed together as they represent completely different settings. If you came up with a scenario where a “normal” dungeon would transit into a cave, you would still have to make 2 different piles as the rules for the settings differ.

It should go with TFP exploration cards.

I don’t want to drop any spoilers…but you will know when to use it and how.

That’s a pick and pack thing. Each set should only have unique colours. If there are duplicates, you are missing another sheet. This was introduced as the last campaign had some issues with duplicate sheets.

Nope. We had some extra space left so we decided to add some characters from previous quests that were missing standees. Keep these with “Quest monsters”. Once you play a certain quest, you will know when to use these.

No. But the ones supplied are more than enough to field the amount of standees needed in a combat.

Because the Bestiary is part of the core game, and TFP is an expansion.

No, it is supposed to be class 6.

No, you can only search the objects in the room, including mushrooms and crystals. It is however pretty easy to houserule this, if you like to search more. Just make a thematical table that replaces the normal search table for dungeon tiles.

They will be sold from the Webshop somewhere around October. You 'might* be able to get hold of them at Spiel Essen too 😉

There is no reprint of the game planned at the moment.

Yes, there are several expansions planned and in the works, ranging from smaller additions to larger ones. When possible, these will not be crowdfunded but rather sold directly from the webshop.

No, not at this point. We are however planning to launch a separate campaign for these already this autumn!

That's ok. The cards are printed by using large metal sheets, and it's actually cheaper to have them on as few sheets as possible than making separate ones for the Knave. The cards are automatically packed as well and hence, you get packs including these cards.

I'm not quite sure yet, but it does unfortuneatly seem like the deck is mis-composed. I'm looking into the issue. As all boxes are the same, there is no need to write a claim for this.

Yes, that is unfortunately a printing error. The correct text can be read in the booklet.

No, though it would be kinda nice to have. The correct modifier is +4, like for all morningstars.
